Washing machine and dryer

In the utility room you'll find a washing machine and a condenser dryer. Detergent is in the cupboard above.

Steps

1 Open the washing machine, load the laundry and close the door.
2 Fill the left detergent compartment with liquid detergent or a wash pod.
3 Turn the dial to the desired programme — for most loads "Cotton 40°" works fine.
4 Press Start. A wash takes 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the programme.
5 Hang the laundry on the line outside or use the dryer: empty the filter first, choose a programme and start.
6 After drying, empty the condensation reservoir at the top of the dryer and clean the filter on the inside of the door.

The dryer is a condenser dryer and doesn't need a vent hose. Clean the lint filter after each load — it makes a big difference to drying time.
