How does the induction hob work?

The kitchen has an induction hob. It only heats compatible (magnetic) pans. Not sure? All pans in the kitchen cupboards work.

Steps

1 Place the pan on one of the cooking zones.
2 Tap the on/off button at the bottom-left of the control panel.
3 Select the desired zone by tapping it.
4 Set the power level with the slider (1 = low, 9 = high, P = boost).
5 To switch off: select the zone and set the power to 0, or turn the whole hob off with the on/off button.

Hear a soft humming sound? That's normal for induction. If you see error code "F" or "E", switching the hob off and on again usually fixes it.
